Brittle nails
When your nails tear or split before they ever reach any length — the gel breaks the vicious circle.

Brittle, soft nails? A wafer-thin layer of gel gives your natural nails stability — entirely without extension.
The gentle solution
Do your nails tear, split at the corners or bend at the slightest resistance? Then you don't need an extension — you need strengthening: a thin layer of gel is applied directly onto the natural nail and cured.
The result looks like your own nail on a very good day: natural length, natural shape — only stable. Underneath, your natural nail can grow back out healthily and undisturbed, well protected.
We do natural nail strengthening as part of the manicure with gel & shellac (from €45) — with colour, babyboomer or completely transparent, as you wish. Every 3–4 weeks it's renewed at the refill.
Who it suits
When your nails tear or split before they ever reach any length — the gel breaks the vicious circle.
After removing a full set, natural nails are often soft — the thin protective layer helps with the transition.
You want groomed but understated nails without length and drama — transparent or with a soft nude.
Office, sport, housework: the strengthening stands up to everyday life where a bare natural nail would long since have broken.

Natural nail know-how
In natural nail strengthening, a wafer-thin layer of gel is applied directly onto your cleaned, lightly buffed natural nail and cured under the LED lamp. Unlike a full set, no new length and no new shape is created — your nail stays your nail, only stable.
The layer acts like a flexible shield: knocks, water and everyday life meet the gel, not your nail. Underneath, the nail plate can grow back out healthily and undisturbed — millimetre by millimetre, without tearing before it ever reaches any length.
Typical candidates for strengthening: nails that tear at the corners, bend under the slightest pressure or split in layers. Even after removing a long-worn full set, natural nails are often soft — the thin protective layer bridges this phase perfectly.
We combine the strengthening with the right care: nail oil for flexibility, hand cream against dryness and — where needed — honest advice on which everyday habits are weakening your nails. That way you treat the cause, not just the symptom.
The result of natural nail strengthening is deliberately unspectacular: groomed, healthy nails at your own length — transparent, in a soft nude or finished with a gentle babyboomer gradient. That's exactly what many women are looking for who don't want "studio nails" but don't want brittle ones either.
You'll find us at Favoritenstraße 68 in Wieden, a few minutes from Vienna Central Station. We do the strengthening as part of the manicure with gel & shellac (from €45); every 3–4 weeks it's renewed at the refill. Honest advice beforehand goes without saying — and it's free.
Expectations
Natural nail strengthening is protection, not a miracle cure: it prevents tearing and gives instant stability — but the gel doesn't "heal" your natural nail itself. It grows back healthily because it's left in peace; depending on the nail, that takes several months from base to tip.
That's exactly why patience is part of the treatment: anyone who consistently has the protective layer renewed every 3–4 weeks will, after six months, see nails that are noticeably stronger than before — even without gel.
Strengthening doesn't mean going without beauty: over the transparent protective layer comes, on request, shellac in any colour, a soft babyboomer gradient or a fine French line. The treatment stays part of the manicure with gel & shellac (from €45) — colour included.
Many clients start transparent and, after a few weeks, dare to try colour — at your own pace, without pressure. The main thing is that your nails get stronger rather than weaker along the way.
Frequently asked
A thin layer of gel applied directly onto your natural nail and cured under the lamp — without extension, without a form. It stabilises the nail and protects it day to day.
No — quite the opposite: the natural nail is only minimally buffed and can grow back out healthily and undisturbed under the protective layer. What matters is having it removed properly in the studio, not picking it off at home.
3–4 weeks — then the regrowth grows out visibly and is renewed at the refill. That way your nails stay protected for the long run.
Hardly: transparent or in a soft nude it looks like a very well-groomed natural nail with a healthy shine. On request we combine it with shellac colour or a babyboomer gradient.
