The timeline for brides
Good bridal styling begins weeks ahead: as soon as your date is set, secure your slot — Saturdays in the wedding season book up early. In the weeks before, a little care pays off (hair treatment from €5), so your hair has shine and grip on the big day.
On the wedding day itself it's best to allow plenty of time: the styling should come together without time pressure, with a buffer for final adjustments, veil and photos. We discuss the exact schedule beforehand so that on the morning of the wedding everything runs to plan — and you stay relaxed.
Hairstyle, dress and occasion — what goes together
The basic rule: the more elaborate the dress at the neckline and shoulders, the calmer the hairstyle can be — a sleek bun or a low chignon lets lace and jewellery shine. Simple dresses can take more drama in the hair: loose waves, braided details, hair jewellery.
The same applies to balls and events: an updo looks festive and is guaranteed to hold all night, half-up is the romantic middle ground, and smooth loose styles live on a perfect finish. Bring photos of the dress and your desired hairstyle — we'll advise you honestly on what harmonises together.
The technique behind a firm hold
That an updo stays put until the last dance is no accident but technique: the right preparation (freshly washed hair is often too slippery!), structure through waves or backcombing, high-quality pins at the stress points, and finishing products that hold without clumping.

The Viennese ball season
Vienna without its balls is unthinkable — and no city places higher demands on an updo: it has to match the ball gown, survive hours of dancing and still sit just as it did at the entrance in photos at midnight. That's exactly what our stylings are built for.
Tip for the season: ball Saturdays book up fast — reserve your appointment as soon as the invitation is in. For the ball gown the same rule of thumb applies as for the wedding dress: elaborate dress, calm hairstyle — and vice versa.
The trial-run idea
For the very biggest occasions we recommend running through your desired styling once beforehand — at a regular appointment with a blow-dry and pinning you see how your hair responds to the technique and how the look feels. On the actual day there are then no more surprises.
Bring everything to the trial run that will be there on the big day: hair jewellery, veil, earrings. Only in combination does it show whether the look is complete — or whether a detail is still missing.
